Islamic Centre Project – Update

Salam alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

All praise is for Allah (swt).

We can now announce that the City of Swan council has approved the plans for the construction and renovation of our Islamic Centre. While we endeavour into the next step of preparing for the renovation and construction with numerous meetings with professional contractors and builders, we need to inform the community that we URGENTLY need to raise $120,000 to allow the plans to come to fruition.
The $120,000 urgent donation will go towards the deceased body wash (maghsal), male and female toilets, the refurbishment of the existing building, fencing, security, lighting, car park and to make the property safe and hazard-free for the community.
In order to get rid of the debt entirely and to conclude the first stage, we have introduced the 313 Fundraising Campaign to the community where 313 blessed people will donate $2,320 each.
Alhamdulillah, so far we have 107 blessed people already who have signed. However, we still need another 206 soldiers of Imam al-Mahdi (atf).
We request all those who made pledges but have not yet paid to kindly start making their payments as soon as possible as we depend on the pledges to make the 313 Fundraising Campaign successful.
We urge all those who have not yet signed up for the 313 Fundraising Campaign to realise that we cannot proceed nor succeed without their financial contributions.
Note:
• We have permission to accept the Sahm Imam portion of a Muslim’s Khums obligation from the office of Sayed Ali Sistani.
• There is no minimum or maximum donation amount for non-participants of the 313 Fundraising Campaign.

“Who is there among you who will lend to Allah a good loan that He may return it after multiplying it manifold? Allah alone can decrease and increase (wealth) and to Him you shall all return.”
Surat al-Baqarah 2:245
